Looking for a special place for lunch or dinner. Wayfare is tops in every way...and they are open on Mondays, which is helpful if that is your wife's birthday.

Went here for lunch on Feb. 24. Weather cooperated and we sat outside. The red sangria is their in house recipe and the best I have had anywhere. We had a variety of warm tapas, every one of which was first rate. Service was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.

We had great service. Friendly, helpful suggestions, courteous! Thoughtfully brought a slice of olive cake with a candle for the birthday girl at our table. A very nice touch. Particularly liked the hummus & the shishito peppers. Everything was well made & tasty. Will definitely be back.

Kokkari never disappoints. I eat here regularly for business but this dinner was with my husband. We had the baked Feta with cherry tomatoes and the feta salad to start. All the starters are amazing and it is always difficult to choose among them. My husband had the lamb special - a whole lamb was roasted on site in the large fireplace spit in the dining room, and I had the lamb souvlaki. Both dishes were amazing. But the thing that sets Kokkari apart is the service. The servers have all been there for years and have a deft sense of engagement and timing. if you have questions, they are knowledgeable about every aspect of the menu and wine list. If you need to conduct business or have a romantic meal, they move around you with elegance and grace. We will go back as often as they will have us.
