The Lexington is more than a restaurant, it’s an institution. Located on the corner of Lexington Parkway and Grand Avenue, this St. Paul community was the most fashionable at the turn of the 19th century. The St. Paul elite lived just blocks away and the first electric trolley brought visitors up and down Grand Avenue. The food was very good and service was excellent. We were there for lunch and enjoyed the food selections as well as the ambience of the restaurant. I would highly suggest the restaurant and will try it again in the future.

Lovely experience here tonight for my birthday dinner. The food was delicious, our server was attentive and very personable, and the manager was very welcoming. It was also nice to be in a restaurant where it wasn’t overly loud. We enjoyed the ambiance!

Most lobby restaurants are not the greatest experience. The Milwaukee, however, was a pleasant surprise. From a gracious hostess to a joyful waitress, to a very, very good meal for the four of us. The only food negative was a relatively bland dressing on the Caesar salad. T”My pappardelle was outstanding and the others felt the risotto, burger and salmon were very fine.
