Best Lunch Restaurants in Gobernador Piñero

The restaurant was amazing. The food was great. Especially the appetizers. We had ceviche and foie gras. The foie gras was the best we ever had. We sat at the bar and the service was excellent even though the restaurant was very busy. The host was a little arrogant. We arrived early and he said they were booked except for the large tables and he wouldn’t seat two at a table for 4. Our reservation was for the bar, which was empty, so I asked why we couldn’t sit there. He responded, yes, any seat at the bar is fine. We sat at the end and ordered drinks. The host came over and rudely said we had to move because a regular customer was coming and she liked these seats. We didn’t mind moving but didn’t like his rude attitude.

Would HIGHLY recommend to come here. Food was a ten out of ten. Must tries are absolutely the crispy rice, spicy rigatoni, branzino, and the shrimp tempura! You really can’t go wrong! The drinks were also delicious! Our server Iliana was amazing! Super attentive and so nice! The only problem was the host was not the best, but other than overall a great place to go. Don’t think twice, just go!!

Ola Ocean Front Bistro Christmas Day Brunch was above expectations. Several stations with Puerto Rico’s favorite dishes. Appetizers, salads, side dishes, carving stations , omelet station, breakfast station with cinnamon waffles and French toast, bacon ect. my wife’s favorite THE DESERT STATION! Roasted pig was melt in your mouth delicious, roasted turkey done perfectly. The sweet plantain coated salmon was incredible, sorry could not eat more. Omelet chef created a delicious pork omelet special. I could not believe the fresh smoked salmon on the appetizer station, the best. Side dishes which included pork rice and beans several Puerto Rico favorites, that I would have loved to try, but there was so much. Did not have room, but the desserts looked to good. Carrot cakes, ginger cake, cheese cakes, a lot of different flavored and covered croissants, mousse and other small desserts. Cannot forget the staff who went above and beyond to make our brunch so special. Being from Massachusetts, had no clue about Ola, but hit a home run with this one.
