Best Lunch Restaurants in Canton

I was joined by 4 of my girlfriends for brunch on the weekend. Our waitress, Elaine, was very attentive, fun and thoughtful. Food was attractive on the plate and delicious. The warm danishes on the table were also delightful. I would definitely go back here for brunch again!

Elsie’s Table Hi all. Had dinner at Elsie’s Table in Canton tonight. It was very good. Started with their onion soup which is one of the best I’ve had. Very rich and flavorful, not overly salty. Then the burger made out of filet - two patties, carmelized onions, cheese, etc. Followed by strawberry meringue pie. (No pie pictures). Everything was delicious, couldn’t finish anything! Definitely a place to try!

First time here. Wonderful food and excellent service. Dining room is lovely. Place was packed but not too loud. Has a nice bar as well as high top tables and standard tables. Food was fresh and beautifully presented. We will be back!

Good service and we appreciated the accommodations made for one member of our group with a food allergy.

The food and service, as usual, was excellent. We continue to have problem, however, with issue of being seated with friends who arrive separately for the same reservation. Once again, our friends, who had arrived earlier, were seated at a table. When we arrived for the same reservation ,(under our name) we were seated at a separate table. After waiting, we called our friends to find out when they would be arriving. They advised us they were waiting for us for 20 minutes and were seated at a separate table on the other side of the restaurant! This keeps happening when we visit Joes in Westwood. The receptionists should have some way of knowing when two people for a four person reservation are seated that when the other couple arrives they are seated together. This is the second time this has happened. We waited twenty minutes before we realized that we were all at the restaurant! It was very embarrassing. We love Joes but it would be appreciated, in the future, if we are all seated together when couples meet at the restaurant, however, arrive at different times. Thank you Steve Goodman 617-290-3680
