- SSharonShropshire •24 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis was our first visit here and after a family function at the symphony hall we can e here. We had my mom with us who has very poor mobility, but the staff were really kind and helpful and guided us to the lift to the downstairs restaurant area. The staff were attentive, friendly, interactive and humorous - really great. The food was generally good, with the exception of the braised beef which was tough and fatty - seemed like left over beef slices rather than braised beef. Otherwise, really great evening out Thank youMore infoThe Rolling MillPrice: Moderate• International• Jewellery Quarter•4.4

Still Birmingham's finest classic Indian restaurant after nearly 60 years. Lovely decor - it's always reminded me of a set from a Bond film, probably Roger Moore's vintage! Thank you for a lovely evening.More infoRajdoot Indian RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Indian• Jewellery Quarter•4.9
- MMayassaLondon •21 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoFrom arriving, it was a fabulous set up, the lounge where we we had cocktails and canapés was lovely, then after half an hour we were taken to the restaurant upstairs. Course after delicious course arrived and were beautifully presented and explained. We thoroughly enjoyed them BUT as soon as we took the last bite and put the cutlery down, the plate was whisked away before we’d even chewed and swallowed. I did comment each time ‘ that’s too quick’ and it meant that we felt we were on a conveyor belt and rushed. We’d driven up from Kent ( booking an hotel for the night) and arrived at the hotel literally 40 minutes before our seating time and so we were wanting to relax but this meant we were rushed. And as soon as we finished our last course with wine still in our glasses, they wanted to move us back to the lounge for coffee and petit fours but I refused saying I wanted to finish my wine. As we commented to each other and compared it it to Aulis/Raby Hunt/ Frog/ L’enclume/ Roux at Landau/ Gavroche/ Fat Duck etc.. we decided this was far far too rushed and at that very moment I got my phone out and booked Aulis for our 5th time. Nice though Opheem was, I think we’ll stick to our Aktar at Home deliveries that we’ve had for the last 4/5 yrs and have them relaxing at home. The staff were excellent but the management have decided to maximise revenue by processing customers through - very sad.More infoOpheemPrice: Very Expensive• Indian• Birmingham•4.9
- LLisaWorcestershire •4 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe had a lovely pre-theatre lunch here, the food was fantastic and very good value for Birmingham. The service was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful. We had a seat in a booth by the window with views of the Jewellery Quarter. It's set in a beautiful part of Birmingham, just out of the busy city, in a calmer, quaint part and an easy and pleasant walk in to the city centre and to the Hippodrome. Highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely go back again!More infoCucina Rustica BirminghamPrice: Expensive• Italian• Birmingham•4.7
- SSandraLondon •4 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 10, 2024A group of 10 of us went today for the Christmas 3 course lunch which was lovely. Between us we sampled most of what was on offer and all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The service was good and the courses came with a reasonable gap between, not too long or too short. I have a minor food allergy which I had mentioned when I booked and they were very careful to find out details and work out how to serve my food so that it would not be a problem for me! A great lunch to celebrate Christmas with some good friends!More infoRestaurant at Birmingham College of FoodPrice: Expensive• British• Birmingham•4.8
