Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Uptown

This was my second visit to Steuben's. This time was for my birthday celebration. I had pot roast and my friends had fried chicken, meat loaf and a fried chicken sandwich with coleslaw. All the food was outstanding and service was spot on. Out waiter was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. One of the best things about Steuben's is their biscuits with raspberry jam. I dream about them! Now I'm also dreaming about the coconut cake! Man! This restaurant can't be beat if you're looking for great homestyle cooking.

The food was great. We especially loved the calamari with carrot and zucchini chips. It also looked like the pizza was a big hit with others in the restaurant. We went during restaurant week and so maybe it was a little busier than normal but the service needs improvement. There were some long pauses when nobody checked on us or cleared empty plates or refilled water glasses. A pity because the food was delicious and portion size was great.

Service was amazing and food was great. Wine pairings were spot on.

We hesitate to share about our experience with Courier because we don't want the secret to get out! However, everyone deserves to have the opportunity to experience what we did - AMAZING FOOD! From the appetizers to the main and through desert we were exclaiming about the tastes and wondering why it wasn't packed!? Turns out, a bunch of government conferences scheduled to visit the area have been cancelled so their attendance is down. Take advantage now!! We will be back as their new chef promises more delectable dishes on the horizon and we have every reason to believe him! Wow, what a great first visit!

Great food. Incredibly loud and conversation was nearly impossible. I’d go back but at a quieter time!
