Food and drinks were amazing! The decor was lovely and the vibe was fun! Ken was our server and he was great, but the woman who took over for him while he went on break was not friendly, which was why I only left three stars for service. Additionally, two people in my party had to cancel due to illness. I tried to make a change to the reservation online, but wasn’t able to do so through the OpenTable app. I called the restaurant and kept getting a busy signal, so I was never able to alert the restaurant to the change in number of guests. When I explained that to the hostess upon arriving at the restaurant she seemed irritated at the change and told us we had to wait while she changed the table setting. The food was delicious and I loved the atmosphere, so I will definitely return, and hope of having friendlier staff and improvements in using the OpenTable app

Ok so I went to GH over a year ago and had a not so great experience. They followed up and invited me to come back and forever and a day later I did. I have no idea what changed but good food gods everything was delicious and the service was excellent. We ordered about four mains for brunch (the fries, lemon pancakes, biscuits and gravy and Benedict) and we devoured everything. To make what was already a fully delicious meal just incredible, the staff went out of their way to make this experience over the top awesome and we were generously gifted the make your own mimosa special which was also decadent and a huge surprise. If anything, I’ve gone back to places after a so so experience and been treated kindly but this was next level. I’ve never had such a 180 at a place before and my friends were in heaven with me. Even without that extremely generous touch, I feel confident saying that Gravity has stepped up the menu and the service. It was always a beautiful location but I’ve not had a brunch like that with every dish being awesome for quite some time. Hats off to GH folks and thank you. I will be coming back and sharing the delish dishes with HH more folks.

North Italia in Del Mar is such a beautiful restaurant with warm, genuine service. I love all the staff here. Some unfortunate observations though from this most recent visit. Meatball appetizer with the polenta is something I always order. This time the meatballs were not thoroughly hot in the center. One of the meatballs had a noticeably dense, off-putting texture. The poleta base was hot & tasty as usual. I did try the new Lasagna Bianca al Forno. There was a generous amount of braised short rib on top. The center of the lasagna was not hot and rather bland. Not sure I would order it again. Also, their plating now with the stainless steel baking dishes right on top of plates is awkward and frustrating. It’s almost like eating on an air hockey table. They really need to put a cloth napkin in between or some other friction agent. This was a surprising oversight in their attention to detail. Tiramisu was excellent!

What an amazing way to enjoy Halloween with the family! Perfect beautiful setting! We had a blast. The only thing that was a bummer is the food and drink orders took over an hour, so I wouldn’t recommend coming hungry.
