- JJoannaMonterrey •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoReview of Chama Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse Chama Gaucha delivers an outstanding dining experience every time! The service is always exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff ensuring your visit is nothing short of amazing. The food is simply incredible—there’s a wide selection of meats, including various cuts of beef, lamb, shrimp, and pork, all perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. One of the highlights is the endless supply of food. Servers consistently come around offering small bites of everything, ensuring you get to sample the full variety. It’s a feast that feels both indulgent and exciting! That said, we did notice an unexpected price increase for the Christmas Eve dinner. There was a $30 holiday upcharge that we weren’t aware of beforehand. While the food and experience were worth it, a heads-up about the holiday pricing would have been appreciated. Overall, Chama Gaucha remains a top choice for a special occasion or a memorable dining experience. Great food, fantastic service, and an enjoyable atmosphere make it well worth a visit!More infoChama Gaucha - HoustonPrice: Expensive• Brazilian Steakhouse• Galleria / Uptown•4.8
- SSHIRLEYHouston •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMy party of three had evening tickets to The Nutcracker ballet so made 6:00 pm reservations for dinner at Birraporetti's. We arrived 20 minutes early so I expected to wait for our table but we were seated right away. Our waitress was amazing and our food was fantastic! One person had pasta with shrimp while the other two EACH ordered the large (appetizer) seafood platter as our entree. Yes, two platters for two people. Everything on the platter - grilled shrimp, crab cakes, and fried calamari was cooked to perfection! Their seafood sauce (like tartar sauce but better!) was delicious as always. Then after the ballet we came back for dessert and coffee. I had the tiramisu, one person had creme brulee, and the third had cheesecake. They were all delicious! Could not recommend this restaurant more!More infoBirraporetti's - Theater DistrictPrice: Moderate• Italian• Downtown•4.4

The salmon salad, the salmon club, and the brie and pear panini. All delicious. A nice cocktail menu is a plus for celebrating. I also love the quiet atmosphere, outdoor dining option, small size, and very easy parking.More infoGeorge's Bistro & BarPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• W. University / Med Center•4.7
