- JJaneannvipWashington, D.C. Area •33 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFrom the moment you step into Jaleos , you’re enveloped in energy. The vibrant decor beautiful colorful throughout sets the stage for an unforgettable culinary adventure. The lively chatter and laughter of fellow diners create an atmosphere that is both inviting and exhilarating. The star of the show is undoubtedly the tapas. Each dish is a masterpiece, bursting with flavor. The grilled octopus is tender and smoky, paired with the refreshing endives with goat cheese, almonds and citrus elevates the experience. And then there’s the ibérico ham—oh, the ibérico ham! It’s nothing short of stupendous. Sliced paper-thin, it melts in your mouth, delivering an explosion of nutty, savory flavors that linger long after each bite. The service is equally impressive, with staff who are not only knowledgeable but genuinely passionate about the food they serve. In summary, Jaleos is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Spanish cuisine. With its energetic vibe, outstanding tapas, and magnificent ibérico ham, it promises an experience that delights all the senses!More infoJaleo - DCPrice: Expensive• Spanish• Penn Quarter•4.7

- MMonaLos Angeles •3 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoThe City Tap House - Penn Quarter was PACKED so I'm glad we were able to get reservations. The food was excellent, but conversation at the dinner table was difficult because it was very noisy. We had a few issues with ordering via the QR code. When I ordered my food, the site returned an error. When I resubmitted my order, I had two orders. I was able to flag down someone who had to go to the kitchen to cancel my duplicate order. Then I had a third food order waiting to be submitted, so I had to flag someone down again to delete it from my order. The online system could use some improvements, but overall it was a good experience. The food and drinks came out quickly and I found I actually liked ordering and paying from my phone. The link to Apple Pay made it a SNAP! That being said, I received a phishing email overnight that my Apple Pay had been suspended. I deleted that, but it makes me wonder about the security of the online system.More infoCity Tap House - Penn QuarterPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown•3.6
