Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Garment District

We visited the Hard Rock Café in New York to celebrate my son's birthday, and the experience was truly remarkable. From the beginning, everything was perfectly organized. Our table was reserved as requested, and we were called to occupy it exactly at the scheduled time. Our server, Melissa, provided exceptional service throughout the evening. She was attentive, friendly, and ensured we had everything we needed to make the celebration special. The food was outstanding, meeting the high standards we have come to expect from Hard Rock. Every dish was delicious and served promptly. Additionally, the atmosphere was incredible. We spent our time in a vibrant, enjoyable environment with a perfect selection of music that added to the celebratory mood. Congratulations to the Hard Rock Café team for their excellent work. We look forward to returning soon for another memorable experience!

We may have gotten lucky because we went to Rock Center and had a reservation New Years Day. But our party of 6 was sat immediately upon checking in even though restaurant was busy. Good menu choices. Waiter attentive enough. Gave water right away but took awhile to come back to take order. Food came prompt, portions were good size and mostly delicious. Drink special was delightful and nice size. Def enjoyed our time there!

Beautiful restaurant with outstanding service. The food is spotty. The fried chicken was dried and overcooked - had to send it back. The sweet potato bread was bland and in desperate need of the delicious accompanying herb butter. The burger was very good but hardly "the best in the city" as our server informed us. The mushroom pizza with it's bountiful array of earthy, "freshly foraged" mushrooms atop a crispy wheat crust was excellent. The fact that you pay a king's ransom for the pleasure of dining at this Jean-Georges Vongerichten restaurant made it somewhat disappointing. I'm happy I went but wouldn't go back.

This is the 3rd time we have gone here during our visits to NYC. First time was on a whim due to an unpleasant experience at another steakhouse during a previous visit. Steaks were great as were the scallops. Plenty of choices for appetizers, salads and sides. They will accommodate reasonable requests. Not as nostalgic as Peter Luger’s, Gallagher’s or Frankie and Johnnie’s but the service and steaks are as good if not better. It is a little pricy but that seems to be the norm for NYC steakhouses. Interior is more of a modern vibe with a nice open bar area and tables well spaced. Good wine list covering most desires. House choices for wines are also very good. Will likely go back again the next time we are in NYC.
