Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in St. Clair West

I recently visited Daphne for the second time, and celebrated by birthday. One key factor for me recommending this spot and for me coming back time after time is the consistency. The food, service, ambiance and vibe is my type. An elegant intimate space that is not too crowded but spacious enough to accommodate the ideal amount of guests to help curate a beautiful and memorable experience. It's also no huge surprise that I've gravitate to this spot as Daphne is managed under the same umbrella as some of my other favourites - Bisha, Oliver Bonicini and Sofia. Once again, the consistency is on point.

Everything about this visit to Aera was wonderful. From great service, timing of food coming out to the table to the food itself and ambiance. Would 100% go back and recommend to friends!

Food was phenomenal, service from Neal and team was amazing, vibe was immaculate. Can’t wait to return. What we ordered, Endive salad - beautifully balanced and fresh Seafood tower - so fresh and amazing flavours. Only note is that the crab legs are very much whole so was a little difficult to shuck ourselves but we managed. Popcorn clams and mussels - light, crispy, delicious. Order it!! Skate wing - Cooked perfectly, surprising flavour combinations but worked so so well Surf ‘n’ turf - ugh, amazing. Perfectly cooked lobster, crispy sweetbreads, sauce was nicely seasoned and rich NY strip - nicely cooked and great flavour. Only note was that although cooked perfectly mid rare, the actual temperature of the steak was a little cold but not a huge deal English chips - best french fries ever eaten. Malt powder and beef fat, can’t go wrong Banoffee pie - very rich, could use a smidge of acidity to cut through it but still excellent Drinks are also great. Both alcoholic and non. Had too many of each to remember for this review. Overall, fantastic night. Will be back many times.

Love the Christmas decorations! It was so much festive and bright! My kids loved it. The door and staff are great too. Thank you for the experience.

The best mussels anywhere!!! Knowledgeable friendly service. So fortunate to have such a great restaurant in our community. And again, greatest mussels ever!
