Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in San Francisco Bay Area

My husband and I go to Bix nearly every year for our anniversary, and it never disappoints. We love the deviled egg appetizer, the soups, and all the entrees we’ve tried. Last night the chocolate brioche bread pudding was the perfect way to end our evening.

La Mar continues to set the gold standard for exceptional dining. The location is vibrant, the service impeccable, and the food nothing short of extraordinary. For our party of five, we indulged in an incredible array of dishes: - Pulpo Anticuchero - Anticuchos - Ceviche Tasting - Planchada a la Mar - Grilled Salmon - Chicharrón de Calamar - La Mar Pulpo - Tomahawk 40oz All paired perfectly with the refreshing Kola and Chicha Morada. This wasn’t the first visit for some of us, but once again, La Mar exceeded expectations. The speed and quality of service were remarkable, making the experience seamless and enjoyable. What truly sets La Mar apart is its ability to combine bold, authentic flavors with a modern touch, creating a dining experience that’s both comforting and memorable. From the tender, flavorful seafood to the perfectly grilled Tomahawk steak, every dish was a masterpiece. La Mar is more than just a meal—it’s an experience that leaves you planning your next visit before you’ve even finished.

I was on my own for Thanksgiving this year. I made a plan to go see a movie and have a nice meal on the holiday. I sat at the bar and the energy of the room, staff and the other patrons turned into such a wonderful evening. Kersten, as well as the entire staff really made the night such a wonderful experience. Thank you STK for your commitment to excellence, you made being alone on a holiday, not lonely at all. We were reminded that "a stranger next to us is only a friend I've not yet met". Wonderful experience and highly recommend if you like a Polynesian ambience and live band. Better if you have a couple of Zombie drinks and groove to the 70s and 80s music. Come with some fun loving uninhibited party animals.and you’ll have a great time!

A while back, I cannot book reservation on Open Table app the time we wanted but I still booked at a later time. When I called the restaurant directly, the hostess was able to adjust the reservation to the time we wanted. We arrived to our reservation at 12:30 pm today. The hostess Daria was so accommodating when I asked to change our table to a better view of the water. The server was nice explaining the good red wine on the menu according to my liking. I ordered the recommended Meiomi red wine. It was light to my taste which was good. My friends got white wine and Irish coffee. For starters we ordered the Horseradish Deviled Eggs with Bacon and tasted good. My friends ordered the same Crab Cake Benedict and Classic Eggs Benedict. I got the Pan Seared Jumbo Sea Scallops over the risotto. The whole food was delicious. The interior ambiance was beautiful. The service was superb. A few times I visited the restaurant in the past and I don’t mind returning for occasions or just to hang out with girl friends. I recommend The Trident restaurant even it’s a drive to Sausalito from different angles of places.
