Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Portage Park

Daisies was phenomenal all around for us. The service, ambience, food were all on top notch. We had the rigatoni, stracci, the potted carrots, and the onion dip. It was honestly some of the best pastas we’ve ever had! The appetizers were also excellent. We will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu.

Such a great time checking out the new brunch menu! We started our day with a wine tasting before the tasting room got crowded. We enjoyed the brunch cocktails. I had a tasty Strawberry Elderflower Spritz and my sister had the boozed iced coffee…both were delicious. I enjoyed the smoked brisket hash and it was delicious and filling. Jasmine was very attentive! We will be back!

This was our first visit. The service was superb in all aspects. The food is inventive and well prepared. Not all dishes were fully successful but all displayed creativity. The deserts wrere wonderful. The ambience was very comfortable and inviting. All staff. were friendly and welcoming. A word of caution. The City of Chicago in their infinite wisdom has installed bike lanes on Milwaukee Ave. and effectively reduced street parking by 50 percent. There is valet parking next door and save yourself aggravation by using it.

Cantarito paint night was so much fun! Even though we were sitting next to strangers, by the end of the night we were all laughing and dancing and exchanging social media. A blast!
