- LLaurenNew Jersey •1 review4.0Dined 2 days agoAlways a good choice. The food is reliably very good and it’s always a fun night. Very good waitstaff. Sushi is always the highlight. It’s been in our regular rotation since it opened, but it has lost a bit of its specialness over the years.More infoNectar - Berwyn, PA (Greater Philadelphia)Price: Very Expensive• Asian• Berwyn•4.8
- OTOpenTable DinerPhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoMy wife and I went to the General Warren Inn to celebrate our anniversary. It was a busy evening there (good to see) and our service was reasonably good given the number of folks present. While our entrees were delicious, I have one small complaint…. The rolls we were served were cold and bore an amazing resemblance to what we buy off the shelf at the grocery. Truthfully I expect a bit more upscale in a white tablecloth restaurant. Otherwise, enjoyable.More infoGeneral WarrenPrice: Expensive• American• Malvern•4.7

The food was amazing per usual. The manager and all of the staff made our night first class! Wonderful experience!More infoFleming's Steakhouse - RadnorPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Radnor•4.7
- BBevvipPhiladelphia County •16 reviews4.0Dined 7 days agoThis was a hard review to write. We have been staying at the Desmond for years but had never dined in Fork and Bottle except for breakfast. It was a Monday night and the dining room was not full. So noise level was excellent especially since it was reunion of sorts with our friends. Cocktails were excellent. Service was excellent. The ambiance was great in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately the food was not so great. My husband and our friend had the bacon wrapped filet which he loved. He claimed the sauce was excellent and the filet was tender. I had the shrimp and crab cake scampi - not so good. The crab cake was very flat - almost like a potato pancake (my husband thought I had ordered chicken!) and the shrimp were small and chewy. The lemon butter sauce was good the crab cake was very very mushy. For the caliber we expected from this restaurant, I was disappointed. My friend had the salmon and I don’t think she cared for that either - neither of us finished. And the food was presented was another disappointment considering what you would expect from a high end dining experience. We have attended conferences here where the food was excellent do I sm not sure if this was just an off night or what? I must add though we had breakfast the next morning here. And the breakfast did not disappoint. Coffee was excellent. Presentation was phenomenal with all the accoutrements. And the food was delicious! So kudos to Desmond for that!More infoRestaurants at the Desmond HotelPrice: Moderate• American• Malvern•4.7
- JJeanvipPhiladelphia County •48 reviews5.0Dined on Sep 29, 2024Great Oktoberfest! Chef and Manager have extensive German culinary and hospitality experience, so outstanding food selection and preparation. Curated beer (and, as usual, wine and cocktail/mocktail) options. We were regaled with flawless accordion music throughout, featuring polkas, waltzes, and German folk tunes. Please make this an annual tradition!More infoThe Fern & FablePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Malvern•4.7
