Designated historical, 740 is one of Colorado's two oldest remaining saloons; transformed back to its 1904 roots; a traditional American dining saloon with a turn of the century ambiance featuring a magnificent room dominating bar, built in 1880 by the Brunswick Company,. The copper spit trough, once equipped with running water, still exists at the front of the bar. Louisville, notorious for its drinking, gambling, and illegal activities, evidence of the occasional misunderstanding is the .22 caliber bullet hole in the front bar. What a fantastic idea to eat there on Thanksgiving! Hopefully this won’t cause the secret to be out but the food is way better than Thanksgiving food and everybody was predictably delicious as usual. What a killer team.

Brought authentic Italians and even they were impressed! Arugula salad needed to be dressed with more care but all of the pasta dishes were great. Our server, Parker was attentive, engaging and funny. Will be back!

The Post, Lafayette CO - This restaurant is everything its advertisers. Whether a casual drop in, date night or large party get together The Posts inviting vibe is reminiscent of that warm neighbourhood spot. As well as a destination dining experience, from ambience, service, quality, The Post is one of a handful of places in my foodie opinion on the front range that's curated an above average next level comfort food & craft beer experience. Well done!
