A TASTE OF TRADITIONThe original Carmella's Cafe, located in New Hartford, New York, opened in 1985. Our goal was to provide our guests with the warmth, charm and quality of a local "Mom & Pop" restaurant with the consistency and controls of a well managed chain. Homemade soups, sauces, pasta, bread served by warm friendly, caring servers was the essence of our business. Our people have to demonstrate an "I care about you" attitude in order to work at Carmella's. We never intended it to be a fancy place... just a place where people of all ages could find good food value and fun in a casual, friendly surrounding! We are now re-dedicating our efforts to those original ideas and are committed to providing our guests with a great experience based on fresh, well prepared food served by people who really care.     We have been going to Delmonico’s for years. This was the best visit ever. The food was excellent and Sara was the best server we could ask for. Frank from the kitchen personally came to our table to ask how everything was. We recently dined at The View at The Mirror Inn and Delmonico’s exceeded the 3 star restaurant!! Mr.&Mrs.N and daughter Cara!!!!!

    What a fantastic experience. Our server Nick was attentive and personable. Food was fantastic and great portion sizes. They had a magician going around to tables, which I first thought would be awkward. Well I was wrong, it was the high light of the evening. It was absolutely amazing. Will definitely return next time in Utica

    Nate was a great server! We enjoyed everything! We had the lobster bisque, clam chowder, focaccia, and a shrimp cocktail for a nice early light dinner.

    Carmella's has become one of our Go-To dining destinations. Their combination of service, menu selections and outstanding value keep us coming back! Their 2 for 1 drink special is a typical example of this. They have always produced carefully conceived dishes made with the freshest ingredients and always served at appropriate temperatures. If I have observed one tendency it is to go 'a little light' on spicing and flavor elements - don't be reluctant to spice it up!
