Fresh tortilla chips with a great seasoning and amazing salsas Thankful, this place is just down the street from us. Though I miss blind pig, I love the twist that they took on the food here. Highly recommend itMore infoBlind Coyote CantinaPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Yorba Linda•4.5

- RRobertHawaii •10 reviews4.0Dined on Feb 26, 2025What a pleasant surprise! We mourned the loss of our favorite local Mexican restaurant, Joaquin’s, a couple of years ago. It was empty for a while, but finally reopened as Dive, a small chain with Cajun themed seafood. Our hostess/server, “Bar,” was engaging, friendly, and helpful. She had good suggestions and in-depth knowledge of the dishes. All the shellfish, both cooked and raw, were fresh and properly prepared. The flavors top-notch. It’s a bright and airy space, quiet with only three or four tables occupied on a Tuesday night—40% off bottle of wine night. My only ding is the pricing—a bit expensive for such a casual experience. Quality seafood is not cheap, but $15 for bread pudding is a bit much unless you’re in a very fancy place. Also, a charge for a bit of bread for the table (good bread—toasted) always rankles me. Still, in the dining desert that is Yorba Linda, we’ll be back.More infoThe Dive Oyster Bar - Yorba LindaPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Placentia / Yorba Linda•4.5
