Brought to you by Long Shot Hospitality, the group behind DC's hit restaurants The Salt Line and Dauphine's. Inspired by the ingredients, techniques, and heritage from West Texas down to the Gulf Coast, Ometeo's foundation is firmly rooted in Tex Mex tradition all served up in a fun and dynamic environment. The restaurant consists of multiple carefully curated dining spaces and three different bars- Main Bar, Outdoor Bar, and Cadillac Lounge Bar. Reservations are available for four distinct areas : Main Dining, Outdoor Dining, Main Bar Booths, and Cadillac Lounge. We accept Open Table reservations for groups of up to 8 people.     Outstanding!! I normally do not like to go to restaurants on days they have special menus. However, the Valentine's choices were wonderful! The lobster and tuna appetizers were delicious, as were the Branzino entree and the luscious raspberry tarts! Julio's service was so refined and helpful, as usual. And James opened a lovely burgundy and provided a delightful evening surprise!! I love going here. I wish I could enjoy the cuisine and service more often. My go-to spot for top flight dining and service in the region.

    This was my partner and i’s two year anniversary and when I made the reservation it asked me to say what the occasion was and I picked anniversary. When we got to our table they had a lovely card from the staff wishing us happy anniversary and a red rose. The whole night staff members came up to us wishing us happy anniversary and it was very nice. Our server was so nice and he went through the menu with us very thoroughly and accommodated my gluten allergy very well. Overall terrific experience

    J Gilbert's is an excellent neighborhood restaurant that provides a wide array of dining options; ranging from casual, to bar scene, or upscale private dining with attentive and responsive service. The menu is varied for a wide array of choices. Portions are large and filling. What makes J Gilbert's so special is the courtesy, diligence and professional manner in which the wait staff takes care of guests.
