Skull Creek Dockside Restaurant, dropped its anchor in the Fall of 2017 and forever changed the culinary landscape of the Lowcountry. In early 2017 the partners of the restaurant began to transform it into their vision for Hilton Head's newest waterfront dining destination. This restaurant, which resembles an old-style river house, is full of authentic architecture, reclaimed wood, and nautical accents that leave you feeling like you've stepped into a Melville novel. The sweeping waterfront view is showcased by full pane glass windows throughout the restaurant which you can enjoy no matter where you dine. Top notch as always - the Bluffton Room never disappoints. I do wish the regular menu had a little more variety (it's very steak-heavy), but I usually end up with one of the non-steak daily specials anyway. Last night was roasted duck, and it was outstanding. My wife's fish was also excellent. We topped it off with the bananas foster desert, which is always a special treat. Service was excellent, drinks were well made - like I said, the Bluffton Room never disappoints. We'll be back.

We were unable to reserve a table inside and instead reserved a table outside for the first time. We and our out of town guests enjoyed the food, service and ambiance. Outside seating is quieter than inside and we ere able to enjoy our conversation as well as our excellent food.
