- CCarolineYosemite / Mammoth Lakes •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe FINALLY made it down from Carlsbad and took advantage of the “Proper Roast Dinner with Richard Blais.” Our first time here was well worth it! The restaurant is GORGEOUS! The staff, engaging and very attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed the scrumptious prime rib dinner with wonderful sides. Everything was meticulously prepared and delicious! King Richard visited our table a few times which made our experience extra special. The sticky toffee and date cake with salted caramel ice cream is a MUST!!! Sooooo good! We will be back to try the famous ale battered cod and chips and the prime rib dip sando…More infoCalifornia EnglishPrice: Expensive• American• Sorrento Mesa•4.3

- JJayciSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoMy boyfriend and I went for a date night and had a wonderful time. The restaurant was decorated for Christmas, it was stunning!! I had the ricotta ravioli and my boyfriend had the armericano pizza, which we both pretty much devoured. We had the apple crumble for dessert, which was delicious. I had two Christmas themed cocktails. The service was great. The bussers were so quick to grab our dirty plates out of the way, and were friendly. Our server was also very friendly and made sure we were taken care of. I will definitely be returning!More infoBarbarellaPrice: Moderate• European• La Jolla•4.4
- FOFoodObservationsvipSan Diego •41 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 9, 2024North Italia in Del Mar is such a beautiful restaurant with warm, genuine service. I love all the staff here. Some unfortunate observations though from this most recent visit. Meatball appetizer with the polenta is something I always order. This time the meatballs were not thoroughly hot in the center. One of the meatballs had a noticeably dense, off-putting texture. The poleta base was hot & tasty as usual. I did try the new Lasagna Bianca al Forno. There was a generous amount of braised short rib on top. The center of the lasagna was not hot and rather bland. Not sure I would order it again. Also, their plating now with the stainless steel baking dishes right on top of plates is awkward and frustrating. It’s almost like eating on an air hockey table. They really need to put a cloth napkin in between or some other friction agent. This was a surprising oversight in their attention to detail. Tiramisu was excellent!More infoNorth Italia San Diego - One PaseoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Del Mar•4.5
