- GGretaSan Francisco Bay Area •12 reviews5.0Dined todayI donated blood platelets at Red Cross and the staff said to increase iron in my diet so made reservations at our local steak place. Doctor's orders! Had the filet with horseradish cream, a wedge salad, brussels and fries on the side. So good! Only sad I couldn't have a cocktail or wine since you're not supposed to drink after donating blood:( Luckily, we got a table inside since it was a bit chilly to sit outside in the streatery.More infoTimber & SaltPrice: Expensive• American• Redwood City•4.6

- AAmirVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •72 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI'm a fan of this restaurant. Food is always consistently excellent. The cocktails are great and they can make a special one for you if you describe your likes. Very good wine list, too. Service is always solid, very friendly and they work as a team to ensure a good experience. We enjoy everything on the menu. Our top favorites: sesame pancakes w/ smoked fish, charred snap peas, charred cabbage, sashimi over rice, fish katsu, and the steak. And of course, dessert, we love the caramel choc. tart. Menu changes seasonally, the main ingredient may continue on the menu but the sauces and sides will be different, pending what's in season. We look forward to returning soon.More infoEthel's FancyPrice: Very Expensive• Californian• Palo Alto•4.8
