100% Plant-Based restaurant in Wicker Park. We have always had the core belief of being as good to ourselves (and the earth) as possible, but as we grow, we have always wanted to do more. With this desire, we decided to open Bloom Plant Based kitchen. Not only is eating a more plant-based diet healthier and more forgiving to one’s body, but it is significantly better for the environment. However, with healthy plant-based options not being the popular choice, we know we have stiff competition.     Overall, the best restaurant I’ve been to since moving to Chicago. The appetizers were phenomenal, the main courses felt a little short, but still we’re good . And I did notice that they forgot to give us our onion soup and sparkling water we ordered

    Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba never disappoints! It’s been a few years since we’ve dined here and it was just as delicious as I remembered! We love tapas style dining - we got the opportunity to try so many things on the menu. The seafood paella was the highlight. We also enjoyed the bacon wrapped dates, brussel spout salad, patatas bravas, hanger steak, and Iberico pork. A pitcher of passion fruit sangria was a great complement.

    I’ve been to Summer House a number of times and have always had very good experiences, however I was recently diagnosed with Celiac, so I wanted to leave a review saying how impressed I was. According to the menu, most items can be made gluten free. I went with another person who was gluten free and the dinner was outstanding. Our server was great (as usual) and was very knowledgeable. It was very busy but didn’t feel crowded. The miso salmon was delicious and the Brussels sprouts salad is a favorite of mine. So unique and tasty. Normally I don’t get dessert but decided to try the gluten free chocolate chip cookie because their cookies are so good. This one did not disappoint! Soft, satisfying and hit the spot! I was curious about the “mini” espresso martini and thought, why not? It was the perfect after dinner drink! Overall, another great experience at the Summer House. I’ll be back!

    Our night was so enjoyable, and it started with our server. He was personable, helpful and good humored. The cocktails are creative, I had the Japantown and loved it. Very original, very refreshing. We shared the garlic fried rice, brussels sprouts, fire chicken and steak kalbi. Every bit of it was delicious. Truly, could not have been happier with the experience.
