Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Kaanapali

Very beautiful atmosphere for a romantic or casual dinner. Food is excellent, however very pricey. It seemed empty for a Saturday @ 7pm seating. Service was great in celebrating our Anniversary with a complimentary dessert of our choice and a 25% discount.

This restaurant is the best value for your money. It's ocean side. Our table was right next to the ocean and the view was spectacular. The service is the best and the waiters are the friendliest. The food is outstanding. I am Vegan and they are always respectful of my requests and accommodate me. I love their Greek Pita Wrap - I get it with grilled tofu and mushrooms ... it's not on the menu, but they will do for you if you are a vegetarian. And the Lilikoi sorbet is the best ever!! We were celebrating a birthday and they even brought out the sorbet with a candle on it. And they gifted the birthday girl the dessert. We LOVE Mala Ocean Tavern and eat there frequently. I will always bring mainland friends here. The view can't be beat and it's one of the few restaurants right on the water. And if you're lucky, you might see a honu (sea turtle) or two!

It was so great being back with Star Noodle! I've been visiting them from the days up in the industrial area, to the Aloha Plate location, next door, to this location now (former Freidas spot)! The food was excellent, as always! The service is always consistently good! I love the new location! It has been transformed from the cute Mexican restaurant, to the classic Star Noodle ambiance! Always love dinning on the water during sunset, paired with Star Noodles experience made it for a perfect evening! I can't wait to go again! And again! Aloha!

As usual the service was great. Lily was wonderful. Eating outdoors on a balmy night was fabulous. Diver scallops (2 plates) were wonderful. However, I was disappointed with an odd seasoning flavor on my fillet and the green beans. The seasoning overpowered any great steak flavor. Steak was also not as wonderful as the first time I had it, - it was not crispy on the outside. It was soft and juicy, but the first time had it I thought it was just a 1/2 grade below a Ruth Chris filet, this time it was slightly less than an Outback. Will definitely go back, but no more steaks for me.

My experience at Honu was perfection. From the moment we arrived, the staff, particularly Millie our waiter and Pam, our sommelier, made us feel incredibly special. They were attentive and genuinely engaged in our dining experience. The food was nothing short of amazing; each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, the cocktail to start the evening was fantastic!! The combination of outstanding service and exquisite cuisine solidified Honu as a must-visit destination for a world class experience on Maui!
