Excellent atmosphere. Definietly recommend. Its our second time there and again we came with our infant daughter and they were unprepared. They accommodated but only after they realized that their approach would hamper our childs safety and then they complied. Exact same thing happened the time before. Please train your staff to handle seating families with infants that will remain in their stroller basket. THe unprepared approach makes it a bit annoying.

This has been the best vegan restaurant in the city for us! Outstanding food, service, value, and energy always. Our only challenge this time was that they no longer have vegan + gluten-free options in their main course meals. We were mad for their gluten-free pizza, but unfortunately it's no longer available. And we just discovered their GF pasta has eggs, which is unusual in the GF world. They're working on a solution, which is amazing. They're really committed doing things authentically here, as well as in-house, so we understand the challenge for the chef. We'll certainly be back once there are options from the full menu for us again. I still highly recommend Bellona to anyone who doesn't have the food restrictions we do.

Great lunch with friend. Good was good, atmosphere was delightful and the daytime quiet was unrushed. I appreciate the flexibility in preparing my meal with specific dietary constraints.

Everyone was warm and attentive and being that we were celebrating a birthday, our server delivered something special to commemorate the event! A really outstanding meal through and through. In fact, we discussed over dinner that fantastic dining experiences like you are always sure to have at The Ace are rare in Toronto these days. Happy to have been able to celebrate at The Ace, and already looking forward to being back.

The tea selection was fantastic, with a variety of flavors that catered to every taste, from classic Earl Grey to a Peaches and Cream blend. The sandwiches and desserts were crafted with care, and the flavours were rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced. Special shout-out to the scones, which were a wild ride for my tastebuds! Cheese and pumpkin?! Ube and white chocolate?! How do they come up with this? Every single bite was delicious and they even catered to my gluten free diet! The staff really got into the theme, too, adding a fun and playful element to the experience. They shared stories of the Old Mill's "haunted history," which was a great touch and made everything feel authentic. Overall, it was such a cool event that perfectly captured the spooky season while delivering an elevated, gourmet high tea experience.
