The Japanese film Tampopo was marketed as the world’s first “ramen western”. It’s the story of two truck drivers, Goro & Gun, who use their culinary expertise to change the fate of a struggling noodle shop. Those two characters' passion for noodle-making lives on at Calgary’s 150-seat noodle bar — led by executive chefs Ryusuke Araki & Tomo Mitsuno. Located inside Stephen Avenue Place, upstairs on the Plus 15 level, the restaurant melds modern art graphics with distinctive hardwood and right angles of Japanese decor.     Very pleasant business lunch. Room had perfect ambience with the ability to connect and discuss important matters with our client. Service from Nick was spot on, informative, formal but still warm and charismatic. He was there when we needed him and offered appropriate space when we didn't. His timing for drinks/orders etc. was perfection. Would not hesitate to book another business lunch here or romantic dinner date for that matter.

    Great waiter ans service staff .. knew when to service out table and when to hold back with the discussions going on etc .. cleaned plates and glasses away efficiently between courses with smiles and humour !! Food was very good and good variety served hot ! Thank you for the great evening !!

    Our server Del was friendly and attentive making the experience amazing and the manager Mitchel came by and was super kind! got the steam buns, ramen and a roll and it was delicious, great price for the quality of food. Beautiful ambience and friendly staff who greeted us on the way out
