A return visit to this excellent restaurant as part of a theatre evening. As always we received a very pleasant welcome. Food was excellent, we dined as a couple from the a la Carte menu rather than the theatre menu. We had Scallops & Muscles to start with followed by Sea Bass & Lamb fillets. Excellent quality and presentation. Wine choice is good with some lovely reds. They appeared to have a couple of trainee waiters/ waitresses who very pleasant but just needed more knowledge and confidence. This will come in time as we have all had to start somewhere. Fully recommend as great pre theatre venue or for that special occasion in the city center. Thanks again Lorraine & Steve

We have eaten here a few times and would recommend it all. Everything we have eaten has been freshly prepared and the taste and portion size make it extremely good value for money in our opinion.

Totally exceeded my expectations. Fabulous service, setting and food. Beautiful calm, graceful ambience with warm helpful staff and every item on the menu was first rate. A pleasant surprise that unlimited teas, any type of coffee and hot chocolate were included in afternoon tea and the rose fizz to accompany goes perfectly as an add on. A special start to Christmas and a refined yet relaxed oasis in which to enjoy it at leisure. Highly recommended thank you - we will be back.
