I absolutely loved my first visit to Summer House - Chicago. I took my client out to lunch and wanted to experience something different and found Summer House on IG. A great location and the food is delish. Josh was a great server. It reminds me of Hampton Social or White Sheep with the look and decor. Great service…

We went for Valentine’s Day and it didn’t go well at all. We went for steaks but they were out and didn’t tell us until we ordered. The chef found a couple rib eyes which was great. Unfortunately they served our steak to another table and I sat for 2 hours while my other half ate. It was awkward just sitting there watching everyone eat. I have to admit the restaurant owned the issue, apologized profusely, comped the whole meal and gave me a $200 gift certificate. I had my meal wrapped up when it finally came and we left. I understand things happen and I’m very happy how they handled it. The steak was delicious when I finally ate it at home. In other news, it was LOUD and the communal tables put people on top of each other but a couple next to us was our biggest champion getting comped.
