Sammie’s is a little taste of old Italy in downtown Austin. It celebrates the great ‘red sauce’ institution—inspired by old school, legendary Italian-American restaurants.     Terrific food, wine, service and ambience. We went full Italian over steaks. Refreshing Redfish crudo and crispy squash blossoms w delicious ricotta filling were great starters. The frutti di mare and osso bucco are highly recommended entrees. Generous servings of the best Italian cuisine in ATX. Wine selections were excellent and reasonably priced. Bravo!

    The food was incredible and the service was fantastic. We were there for brunch and had the pancakes, breakfast tacos and steak and eggs along with the delicious Revive smoothie. They use all the healthiest ingredients. We ended up eating here several times over a long weekend. Every meal was flavorful and vibrant. We literally kept going back the Well.

    Was a truly incredible experience. My girlfriend and I came to celebrate my birthday and we had Ivy as our waitress. She perfectly coursed out our meal and made incredible recommendations! She even brought over a birthday dish, truly going above an beyond. Highly recommend Uchiko for a special event or occasion.
