- SSimonSydney •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoA very nice twist on Japanese cuisine. Some traditional options but also some simple additions to these. The black cod was exquisite.More infoHachioji Crows NestPrice: Expensive• Japanese Speciality• Crows Nest•4.7
- RReneeVIPDenver / Colorado •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe reviews I had read did no justice to the outstanding level of service and cuisine we experienced at Songbird last night with a party of six. Exceptional produce beautifully cooked. Stand-outs were piping hot dumplings with a delicate skin and bouncy interior, sesame prawn toast, beautifully balanced crab omelette and conpoy and lup cheong fried rice. The crisp skin chicken was voted the best we all had ever had - a must order. Mr Wongs had the monopoly of fine Cantonese food in Sydney up until now. The baton, has now been well and truly been passed to Songbird. Can’t wait to return.More infoSong BirdPrice: Very Expensive• Chinese• Double Bay•4.4
- FFrancesSydney •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWe attended LB's to celebrate our birthdays. The staff, on entry, were polite and very welcoming. We were led to our table, which gave us a nice view of the Harbour Bridge. They have a short but varied cocktail list ... the cost, though, I feel, maybe a little high. I chose El Dorado .... very nice. We chose to share a starter and decided on the Salt & Pepper Squid. It was absolutely delicious. A very light batter and cooked perfectly so that the squid was lovely and tender. For the main, my partner chose the Steak Frittes and I, the Chicken Scallopini. The steak was of a decent size; cooked as requested and was lovely and tender. My partner thought that, for a main, overall, the dish was a little small. My chicken dish was considerably larger. It was well cooked with an abundance of mushrooms, pomme puree and a very tasty sauce. We added broccolini as a side dish. Being our birthdays, we were afforded a cute little chocolate "Happy Birthday" on top of our dessert. Overall, the food, staff and ambience was wonderful. The prices may be a little high for some, but we felt it well worth the visit.More infoLB's RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• North Sydney•4.1
