I recently had the pleasure of dining and enjoying cocktails at Above 8, and it was nothing short of exceptional. Every dish we tried was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with taste. The rooftop setting is chic and inviting, with comfortable seating and an atmosphere that effortlessly blends elegance and relaxation. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and polite. We had a great table for 2 at the front edge, with a clear view of the opera house and the people strolling the waterfront. The linguine with seafood was delicious, as was the burrata and the Italian beer. Tiramasu was tasty, but we wished we had shared because the portion was huge! On Christmas Eve, it was very busy, so service was a bit off, but all the servers were so pleasant that I can’t fault them.
