Overall, the best restaurant I’ve been to since moving to Chicago. The appetizers were phenomenal, the main courses felt a little short, but still we’re good . And I did notice that they forgot to give us our onion soup and sparkling water we ordered

Wonderful place for birthday date night. Staff was very attentive and everything we tried was delicious. Doandy was our server and he did a great job. Muhamara with warm pita was yummy, and the butternut fatoush salad was very good and a generous portion. We had to try the pistachio ravioli paired with mushroom skewers, amazing! And they surprised us with a complementary birthday treat at the end of our meal.

I had a delightful lunch at Gibsons Italia with my friend, and it was an experience to remember! From the moment we arrived on the 3rd floor, we were treated to excellent service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and ready to answer all our questions—including explaining what gold-extruded pasta meant, which we found fascinating. The food was absolutely delicious! The salads were fresh and flavorful, the portions were just right, and the baked potato was a standout—so good that I’ll be thinking about it for a long time. The ambiance, paired with the gorgeous riverside view, made it hard to leave after our meal. Instead of heading out right away, we decided to continue our stay at the bar, and I’m so glad we did! PJ, the bartender, was exceptional. His service, engaging conversations, and the memorable baked Alaska he recommended truly elevated our experience. He even crafted some amazing drinks that were the perfect finish to our visit. From start to finish, Gibsons Italia exceeded our expectations, and I can’t wait to return—especially to see PJ again for another round of his amazing hospitality. Highly recommend!

I am excited about every aspect of our dining experience at Jeong. We were greeted by Jennifer, who is one of the owners. She was so friendly and interested in making sure we had a special dining experience. The room is beautiful and has a very warm, minimalist feel. Every course was 10 out of 10. The attention to detail was evident in each dish, which was delicious and artfully presented. All of the dishes are very unique, and there wasn't a single course that was not outstanding. All four people in our party loved the salmon tartare and the perfectly seared scallop. Yet, we raved about all of the courses. The Jeong wine pairings were excellent too. The dinnerware for each course was unique, and the wine glasses were elegant. The dining experience at Jeong is very special. I am already looking at my calendar for a time to return. It was truly exceptional.
