Founded in 2007, UMI Japanese Fine Dining serves traditional and modern Japanese cuisine in an elegant and welcoming dining room. The wait staff are warm, friendly and attentive. This restaurant offers a full bar, including hot and cold sake. Ask staff which drink will pair well with your dish. Start with an appetizer like the edamame, agedashi tofu, stuffed mushroom, ika tempura or the crab cakes. UMI also offers a variety of bento box dinner specials, where guests can customize their dinner. Choose from tofu, chicken, shrimp, beef or salmon teriyakis or fish or vegetable tempuras. Guests can order noodle-based plates like the vegetable or tempura udons or the nabe yaki soba. There is a separate sushi menu that includes many of the chef's special creations. UMI Japanese Fine Dining is convenient located in downtown Hendersonville and just off the I-26 exit.

    Without question, the best restaurant in Hendersonville! How Yelp and others give this 4 stars is beyond me. I come from NYC and Verri’s compares favorably with any Italian restaurant I’ve been to. The food is great, the staff is great and the chefs are top notch! I just wish they would offer veal piccata and veal francese. If you’re not in the mood for a classic Italian dish, have the steak, osso bucco or rack of lamb. We go once a week. THE BEST!

    I love everything about Posteros.. food was so good and beautifully prepared. Love the high ceilings and tables not too close. Deidre our server stuck with us when one of our party needed help with wine selection and offered to let us taste a few first.
