- KKarishmaPhiladelphia County •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWas great way to celebrate the new year. Food is very reasonably priced, and is served family style. Great portions. The cool on the sea bass was amazing, it melted like butter and the veg complimented it well. The plum sake was a favorite of the alcohol, and the sunrise was the favorite of the mock-tails, best served with a splash of sparkling water. Overall was a great experience and will be returning especially to have ray as our server. He was fantastic.More infoBuddakan - PhiladelphiaPrice: Expensive• Asian• Old City•4.7

- CCherylPhiladelphia County •40 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoEvery single course was unique and delicious! Recommendation by our server ,Sean, on how to order was spot on. He also suggested the winter Negroni drink and it was fantastic! We started with the salted beets and the hiromasa crudo both were fresh and light. We had the skate cheeks, the texture of the fish was flaky and had a bit of crunch on top. The ricotta dumplings had my mouth watering from the smell as I broke open the first dumpling. It had the perfect amount of heat and a slight smokiness that was so freaking good you want to lick the bowl. Hubby ordered the veal osso buco and raved about it. I had the orata and it was flaky and delicious. Most places that excel at the main food are not so terrific with desserts but at Bastia both the panna cota and the basque cheesecake had unique flavors that were a perfect ending. Service was incredible and allowed us to have conversation but never missed a beat on clearing and presenting the next course. We’ve been to a lot of really good restaurants but Bastia is top 3 of them all. There are a lot of excellent restaurants in Philadelphia and we will choose to return to Bastia.More infoBastiaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Fishtown•4.8

- LLindaPhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 24, 2024ALLORA is a Must-Try! My family’s visit to ALLORA Italian Restaurant was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We started with appetizers that were out of this world—an amazing way to begin the meal. Our server, Laura, made the experience even better. She was friendly, attentive, and gave excellent recommendations. She truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The highlight of our meal was the fresh pasta. You could immediately tell it was made in-house—it was cooked to perfection and paired with rich, flavorful sauces and proteins. Every bite was incredible. The support staff also did a phenomenal job. They kept everything running smoothly, refilling drinks and clearing plates seamlessly. ALLORA is everything you’d want in an Italian restaurant: amazing food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I can’t wait to return and will definitely recommend it to friends. Highly recommend!More infoAllora by Da SoliPrice: Moderate• Italian• Marlton•4.7
