Kokkari (pronounced “Ko-Kar-ee”) is a small fishing village located on the islands of Samos in the Aegean Sea, whose name is derived from the small onions that were once produced in the nearby fields. Finally a top notch experience. I’ve been there many times before with tourists and others but this was a date, a real date. The Mai Tais were delicious as was the poke appetizer. Both the basil chicken and salmon were very good, the portion size generous. The entertainment was old time tiki bar. The service was efficient, professional and friendly. The setting? There’s only one Tonga Room, the one that we old time San Franciscans can appreciate.

Kind of chaotic, sit at this table then no take this one. Food pretty excellent with the exception of Beef with Chilli Oil- overwhelmed by the oil. Other dishes were excellent. Overall good experience.
