Best Family Style Restaurants in Chestnut Hill

We had a fantastic time on Saturday 11/30/24. Everything we ate was better than the last, and portion sizes were generous. We started with pork belly bao buns bc I have been craving them for weeks and boyyyyy they did not disappoint!! The pork belly was perfectly cooked and paired so well with the soft bao bun and crisp refreshing cabbage. We also had shrimp lo mein (amazing!) and char grilled aged beef. DO NOT MISS OUT ON THE BEEF! It is seriously melt in your mouth delicious, you won’t be disappointed. Our server was attentive, friendly, and great at her job. We were sat right on the edge of the kitchen but didn’t feel cramped or in the way. Ambience was a little loud but it was a Saturday night and you could still hold a conversation at your table without yelling, which was nice. Free birthday dessert was a coconut sorbet, you’ll love it if you like coconut. There are coconut bits in the sorbet which was refreshing, I’m just not a big fan of coconut. I felt bad that it was wasted on me! Bathrooms clean and well maintained. Valet was super quick and easy. All around a lovely birthday meal and we cannot wait to return. Thank you!

Good food and GREAT atmosphere. We were so excited to get the bay window seat. Server was efficient and attentive without being over bearing. Everyone loved their meals. Unfortunately, we were too full to try out the desserts. Great way to get the full Philly experience.

We ordered the tuna, beet salad, olives, bronzino, and osso bucco. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent.

The service was impeccable—attentive, warm, and perfectly timed, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. And the pasta? Simply divine. The ricotta gnocchi is a masterpiece—soft, pillowy, and paired with brown buttered onions. The rigatoni was classic perfection, cooked with rich flavors that left us craving more. And the cacio e pepe? Simply heavenly—creamy, peppery, and the ultimate comfort dish. Fiorella truly honors the art of pasta, and every bite reflects their passion and skill. Every bite was a testament to the care and expertise poured into their dishes—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. And don’t even get me started on their focaccia—it was exceptional! It’s clear they take pride in delivering authentic, top-tier cuisine. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend for anyone looking to indulge in exceptional food and stellar service!
