Taking hospitality back to its roots with a warm welcome from our genuinely friendly team breathing new life back into the heart of the community. The menu will offer daily, hyper-seasonal specials, and plenty of British game, meat and fish. Executive chef and owner, Jamie Dobbin is passionate about local sourcing and traditional dishes, such as Half dozen Porthilly rock oysters with shallot dressing, Brixham King scallops with burnt butter cauliflower and caviar or Portland hogget Shepherd’s pie with grilled cutlet. Serious meat lovers can expect 45 day aged native and rare breed steak on offer as well as a hero dish of Beef Wellington for two. Fish is of course wild, sustainable, and British, sourced from day boats on the South coast with the daily catch delivered straight to the door in a matter of hours. Good parking availability. Friendly staff and they know their food, which they can explain what the dishes are. Very good service, staff kept checking and make sure your water are topped up. Good quality food, definitely enough for a normal person. Tried the fish and chips and it was perfectly cooked.

Dining with girl friends on a Wednesday night so not busy. Excellent food. Great service but not too intrusive. I had three courses and finished them all which I never normally do. I'd recommend it for small or large groups. We will definitely be going back.

First,time visiting the Drummond & what a great experience. The food,staff and atmosphere were excellent. Will definitely be visiting again, I couldn't find any faults that let the pub down. Staff are polite & a credit to the pub. Would recommend the Drummond Snipe to family and friends with no concerns.
