Best Dog Friendly Restaurants in Bungay

Very lovely staff, service, food & drink. We had a meal for my birthday and I really enjoyed it. Only issue (which couldn’t really be helped) was it was a little noisy as people using the pub to drink were sat directly behind us! There was a lot of shouting but the staff did their best to communicate to this group that they were disturbing us. However we will definitely return both to eat and drink as we have done in the past as it’s a lovely place (despite this one off problem) !

Just had a Sunday lunch at the Kings Head. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal which was well presented with a great variety of vegetables. It was certainly the best roast that we have had for a long time. Excellent attentive staff, well worth a visit.

Lovely birthday lunch with my brother. We went for the light lunch menu for a change but even the club sandwiches defeated us! Surprise birthday dessert was gifted which was a lovely touch. Service not as good today as usual but they were busy. Christmas decorations look lovely. Still our favourite place locally as loyal customers.

Brilliant service from delightful waiting team and the food was outstanding Beef carpaccio with all the trimming and sautéed scallops with a delightful light curry sauce made a perfect starter And we had Brancaster mussels for our main course in a white wine sauce . Big fat and juicy with chunky chips crisp outside and fluffy inside. Not forgetting a flowery gooseberry Sauvignon from NZ. Perfection And the classic lemon tart to conclude We have to return!
