The food we all had last night was excellent, Turkey, the pie and the diet orientated venison scotch egg was beautifully crafted and beyond delicious. Unfortunately next to us were some very loud older gentleman which meant we sometimes ended up talking louder to hear ourselves. Nobody’s fault just luck. They had a good time as well. Bless but Winter, spring or summer the Kites a great place to go.More infoKite at The Red HartPrice: Expensive• British• Hitchin•4.7
- JJamesHertfordshire •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoBrought back group to craft and cleaver for a meal and drinks. 1st the drinks... the rum I had was a generous measure and the best part unlike other nearby establishments was not watered down in any way. The beers we tried tasted nice and we enjoyed all our drinks a lot. The meal.... 1 word... meatylicious. We ordered 4x sharing platters which we were banging (although next time will swap chicken out for more sausage....) and a side for each of us. The amount of food was more than enough to satisfy even the greediest of carnivores and was enjoyed by all of us. Highly recommended for anyone who loves eating many animals with deep flavours and lovely sauces.More infoCraft & Cleaver - St AlbansPrice: Expensive• Barbecue• St. Albans•4.5
- JJulieHertfordshire •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThe Fox is an a la carte restaurant in the evenings. We didn’t realise and there wasn’t too much for my friend to eat. The waiting staff asked the manager if we could order off of the lunchtime menu, which she did. The food was delicious, especially the Hispi cabbage and the chocolate mousse dessert! It was busy but well staffed so service was adequate. The ambience was also lovely. Would thoroughly recommendMore infoThe Fox at WillianPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Letchworth•4.4

The atmosphere was really good there and the ability to move from the bar area to the table and back freely (via the shuffleboard)More infoCraft & Cleaver - HitchinPrice: Expensive• Barbecue• Hitchin•4.4
