Best Date Night Restaurants in Trumbull

Farm Italy is a very special restaurant that takes great care and pride in creating a terrific experience for diners. It was my birthday and my wife and i met two friends at the bar for drinks and then went to our table upstairs. The tables are spacious so we were not near any of the others. The service was excellent. And the food was absolutely scrumptious. I had the special - pasta with lobster and shrimp, and my wife had chicken Parmesan. We also shared the arugula salad with lemon and Parmesan, which was fresh as can be, and we ordered the homemade rolls which my wife says is a must every time we go there.  finally for dessert, we had the basil – berry gelato which had an absolutely outrageous flavor. We both thought the meals were better than expected. Overall, highly recommended and will be dining there more frequently.

My husband and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving lunch today. We got there around noon and was warmly greeted by staff and brought to our table. We ordered drinks and both had the turkey dinner. Every part of it was delicious and the portion was enough for another meal tomorrow. Our waiter Jared was attentive and friendly as was everyone helping with serving and clearing our table. Glad we made a reservation at Cast Iron Chef for Thanksgiving.

The flatbread with hummus, baba gauche and especially the spicy Feta were worth going to Esh alone so fresh and delicious! My husband had the Lamb pot pie and it’s a signature dish that presents well and he thoroughly enjoyed. My son had the halibut and my other son had the rib eye schwarma. I had the Bronzino. The halibut presentation was just okay but he enjoyed the flavor. My other son isn’t a fan of Feta and he thought it may have had feta sprinkled on top. My Bronzino was crisp and delicious with grilled tomato and pepper. For desert they remembered my birthday which was a plus. All three had the rice pudding and I had the Kade cake which was delicious. The server was pleasant, attentive and knew the menu inside and out. Her suggestions were spot on and added to our overall dining experience. With drinks the bill was $470 plus tip which is in line with other area restaurants in Westport and Fairfield. . We plan to go back again.

We took friends who have been wanting to try it. ( we go often). They liked it a lot!
