Saturday January 4. The Venetian is the epitome of Christmas festivities, colorful and decorated tastefully in every possible space. You must make it a family tradition to go during the Christmas season. We ordered the rigatoni à la vodka with shrimp and scallops, pasta was perfect al dente, shrimps were tender and scallops were sweet. Appetizer was eggplant, stacked, olive oil and seasonings, no tomato sauce and was actually delicious enough to order again. Food and service was excellent, so was the wine and cocktails. A favorite restaurant! We will definitely go back again and again. Before you sit, check out which table they want to seat you at and make sure it is not in the back room where they put screaming , out of control kids, which is the parents fault and not The Restaurant. There were two tables, each had three or four children, one table so well behaved and the other table thought they were on the hockey rink. Before a parent complains about my insensitivity, I have five children and five young grandchildren, and they all know the difference from Restaurant behavior to schoolyard rowdiness, with guidance from their parents . I hope the parents at that table read this. Viva La difference’ and Happy New Year.

The meal was amazing. It was a group of 4 and there were 4 different meals. We ordered the bolognese, chicken parmigiana, frutti di mare, and oven roasted Atlantic cod!!! Everything as cooked perfect!

The food was divine and the service was impeccable. If you’re looking for an upscale restaurant without the hassle of traveling into the city, look no further. This is a gem of a restaurant that I hope more people on the South Shore discover so that it will remain a staple in our community for decades to come. The drink menu was impressive, the short rib gnocchi appetizer was delicious, and the espresso crème brûlée was the best I’ve ever tasted. Lucca is not to be missed!

The food was delicious. I had the Butternut squash raviolis with eggplant parm and it was cooked perfectly. The Frosty snowman margarita was perfect! Our server Donna was great. She brought us little lights for our drinks and made great food suggestions. We loved the Christmas experience with the decorations. Buddy the Elf was soo on-point, fun, and made our evening. He was especially great in and with our photo ops. Thank you! Merry Christmas!!

I just wish the bread was warm. The bread was good, texture taste etc but if it was warm it would be even better. The seasonal sangria, was great(very worth having again), steak tips had a good flavor, the doneness was a little off but overall good meal, great service.
