The Lexington is more than a restaurant, it’s an institution. Located on the corner of Lexington Parkway and Grand Avenue, this St. Paul community was the most fashionable at the turn of the 19th century. The St. Paul elite lived just blocks away and the first electric trolley brought visitors up and down Grand Avenue. Fantastic food - loved my steak and my wife loved her burger. Sushi was great as well. Neat interior - very sophisticated feeling. Service got pretty slow towards the end of the meal but that's fine - we loved it!

Had the pear sandwich for dinner, the queso for the chips was homeade and next level good. My date had the bison tacos, they were delicious. We had the lemon ricotta hot cakes and bison Benedict for breakfast the next morning. The service was excellent, I am going to recommend it to everyone going to Minneapolis and I will definitely go again.

Met a business colleague there for lunch and was impressed. Lots of light made the space feel open and airy. Menu was diverse. I chose the meatloaf which was a daily lunch feature and my friend had the Reuben which he said was excellent and looked amazing. The meatloaf was very good and a large portion. I would come back for happy hour to see who the restaurant draws in the evening.
