Best Date Night Restaurants in Forest Park

Hemmingways Bistro is a family favorite. The food, ambiance and serve are excellent.

Sent my son and daughter in law for a much needed night out. They are relatively new residents of Oak Park. They said everyone made them feel so welcome! Food was also outstanding. I’m sure they’ll be back before baby number two is born!

Weweremeetingold friends halfway. I found this restaurant on open table. Menu looked great. I asked fora quieter table in the back. It was perfect. The food was delicious, portions enough to bring some home for lunch. My margarita was perfectly made. If we lived closer, this would be my neighborhood go to!

Excellent service, tasty and well-prepared entrees, nice wine list. Lovely subdued atmosphere which easily allows conversation. Consistently wonderful experience.

It was my first time and I had such a great experience! The food was fantastic and the wine added such a nice touch to the evening. I loved all the variety of wines available as it allowed me to explore and try something I couldn’t elsewhere. The food menu is also quite varied and has something for everyone! The service was great and quick, even though it was fairly busy. Will definitely be returning!
