Café Napoli is a family owned restaurant, established in 1989 by Tony and Kathy Pietoso. Quickly becoming a success, they moved the small basement restaurant to a larger location at the corner of Forsyth and Bemiston in the heart of Clayton. In 2003, sons Ande and Kye expanded their family restaurant by adding Bar Napoli, a swank cocktail lounge. A few years later, Napoli Reserve was added onto Bar Napoli allowing for private event space and an additional bar and lounge for the weekends. After years of a flourishing business, Kathy and Tony decided to take their ventures West to Town and Country where they opened their second location, Napoli2, managed by Ande. Kye has taken the reigns from his father and is now the front man for the 8,000 square foot establishment in Clayton. Café Napoli and Bar Napoli have recently undergone a face lift inside and out. Blow your mind cocktails done perfectly. Not some basic Hotel cocktails put together by children. Know these were professional craft cocktail people. The Thanksgiving spread was second to none possibly the best I’ve seen around the world.

We dined in one of the tents in back. It was a beautiful setting and very private. Our waiter did a fantastic job of attending to us and making us feel comfortable and not rushed. We had several pastas and they were all good but not over the top delicious.

We started with beet carpaccio which was amazing. Then shared the pear and gorgonzola salad. The birthday boy got a steak and I got the Delicata Squash side. At that point I was so full that I could barely finish half, even though it was delicious. Everything about the evening was wonderful and our server, Jordan, was engaging. There when we needed her but not hovering. It's a lively atmosphere, so not the place if you want to have a quiet convo but the food and service are top notch.
