Best Date Night Restaurants in Druid Hills

The experience is so worth it- book the reservation! The wine, cocktails, appetizers, dishes, fun hats and music! You will not be disappointed! Service was a tad slow at first- seemed she may have been double or triple seated pretty close together but made up for it with her warmth and her knowledge of the menu! The expo runners and bussers were so kind and welcoming- the “salúd” with the delivery of cocktails was such a nice touch! The decorations are truly over the top in the most mesmerizing way! I felt like Carrie Bradshaw getting Chinese food with Miranda on Valentine’s Day! Surrounded by beautiful decorations! Will definitely return to catch more decorations for a different holiday! Brava, Mama Gale and team! Wow!

I had a wonderful experience here. This was one of the few places I could find on OpenTable for Christmas Eve, and I definitely wanted a reservation just in case Google didn’t appropriately reflect a business’s holiday hours. I travel for work and hadn’t been home in weeks, so there were no groceries in the house and since I only made it to town that day and stores closed early, I didn’t get the chance to pick up anything for that night. My dad had a much longer drive than I did- due to a storm it took him 15 hours. As soon as he got to town we headed straight there. The service and the food were wonderful. They never made us feel rushed, even though we ended up being the last table to leave. It was so nice to get to sit down and have Christmas Eve dinner with my dad after not seeing him since last Christmas (due to work). They definitely helped us have a Merry Christmas!

As ALWAYS, our server, JO, provided yet another OUTSTANDING dining experience. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and personable. The food was equally incredible; the revamped lavender crème brûlée is a game-changer. 🤩 The moment that solidified my fondness for this place is when my sister (the other guest dining with me) noticed the attentiveness and teamwork practiced amongst the staff both FOH and BOH. In addition to our server and support staff, Deja (the GM) also visited our table, offering to assist us with anything we needed. Nowadays, with the overabundance of “cash grabs” in the city that lack substance and fail to grasp the fundamentals of hospitality, the top-notch dining experience provided at Cooks and Soldiers is so refreshing. Please keep up the great work!!! 👏🏾

Perfect place to dine! Fabulous food! We have dined at La Grotta numerous times and it never disappoints!

We were seated by the front door which was very cold but the hostess was kind and moved us to an interior table. Food was good. We received our food well before our first cocktails. The server seemed to forget them and another server noticed them brought our drinks. I think the decorations were festive and perfect! The chairs are tiny like a hotel banquet. We had one other hiccup with my drink but the same server resolved it. We enjoyed our experience over all. We will look out for the next event experience because I appreciate how they design the experience and you don’t have to think about anything, just enjoy.
