Best Date Night Restaurants in Central

Wonderful food and beautiful space. We had very good oysters, a 4 oz regular wagyu filet (cooked perfectly), carrots and au gratin potatoes, as well as a few wines. We also had 4 oz of the A5 wagyu, which is so decadent that I would recommend just adding 2 oz to a lighter meal, rather than loading up on it as an entree like we did. Sides are sharareable sizes, so the prices on those are very fair. Things were out fairly quickly as well. Staff were genuinely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, including wine; I love a restaurant where the core wine menu has been pared down enough that you can trust anything off it will be good, and that was the case here. If you're hard of hearing, you might struggle with conversation; not only is it a little noisy for a restaurant of that caliber, the 2-tops are oddly long, making it difficult to have a conversation at a normal volume. Otherwise, very good experience and will probably be back at some point during another visit to Denver.

What an amazing restaurant that is wonderfully staffed with some amazing food!! Truly one of the best in town for some good homemade Italian cuisine. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to explore it!

Great place. Great service. I explained that I want a not sweet not dry wine and what they suggested was perfect. They understood the assignment. We got full so fast though, be prepared to bring home left overs.

We sat at the counter and really enjoyed chatting with the chef throughout our meal. It felt like we were hanging out at his house, eating at the kitchen island while he cooked. The chef recommended the camote asado, callo de hacha al horno, enmoladas de pollo, and the taco de suadero. Our favorite bites were the enmoladas de pollo and the taco de suadero. The tortillas and sauces are so good! We also had the birria de borrego which was really good but not quite worth the price compared to the other dishes we enjoyed.

This might just be my favorite restaurant in Denver. The basement is one of the coolest spots we have ever dined—such a cool vibe. The pasta is out of this world, the wine selection is fantastic, and the service is top notch. Can’t say enough good things!
