Tabachoy is a Tagalog nickname given to a friend or family member; it means chubby or fatty. We know it sounds mean, but Filipinos give each other inappropriately appropriate nicknames all the time. Your baby brother’s got some neck rolls? Tabachoy. Auntie’s six months pregnant? Tabachoy. Or your dad’s got a six pack, but just finished his third piece of bibingka? Tabachoy! We cook the food that got us made fun of in elementary school, when we opened our country crock “Tupperware” - the food that reminds us of home. We don't strive to make a better adobo than your mothers, but we do want to share ours with you.

We have eaten at Adoro twice. On both occasions, the wait staff was friendly, helpful and professional. The food was great, especially the appetizers (calamari and artichokes), and pastas (mushroom ravioli and rigatoni with broccoli rabe and fennel sausage). The chicken piccata and veal Marsala were well prepared. Portions are huge and the prices are fair. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

Extraordinary and authentic Philadelphia dining experience, even if Charles Barkley is not dining there, too, as we was the night we visited.

Marc Vetri never disappoints. Every component of the menu was outstanding. The flavor combinations along with the wine pairings made this a delectable meal experience. The staff (Gina, Albany and chef Jake) were professional, friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. This was a true dining experience.

Amazing staff. Tasting menu was great to try. The food didn't blow me away (besides the dessert which was insanely good), but it was all good food with perfect portion sizes.

Boyfriend and I went and split three dishes, which came recommended from a server. Onion soup, warm shrimp salad, and the steak frites. Everything was fantastic. We ordered our steak medium, and it came out very medium rare. Our server returned it, the manager came out and apologized. They returned with a corrected steak and more frites. Definitely recommend eating the frites with the steak in one bite. Good one their own but together- chef’s kiss! All of the food was incredible, and felt like we were back in Paris for an hour. Only critique would be for the bread to come warm to the table, or the butter to be softened so it could easily spread on the bread.
