Best Date Night Restaurants in Auburn Hills

I had leek soup, which was nice and hot, good presentation, and tasted good. My wife had a salad, which she said was good, large pieces of feta cheese. The bread was warm, soft, and tasty. She also had the prime strip steak, which was cooked correctly, to order. I had the caccio e pepe, which was better than expected, and I really liked it. Quality over quantity. My wife had Riesling, I had red wine (ironically, should've been the other way around given what we ate). I had a red Burgundy, which was good; then a Willamette pinot noir, which was a very nice sequence. She had a lemon cake for dessert, I had a vintage port wine, which was quite good. Overall we enjoyed the meal. Loud at first, but it quieted down. Narrow space to walk between tables, then larger as more people departed. Spent $250 with tip.

We dined with another couple who had not been here before. Everyone loved the food. Our only issue was that the one soup order came out before the appetizer. That is a little unusual for this restaurant. Mitchell's remains one of our favorite restaurants. We appreciated the manager making a point to stop by the table and check on us. We wish you the peace of the holiday season.

Everything was A1 from the time we arrived until we left. Adam was FANTASTIC!!! His sense of humor, his professionalism, his friendly demeanor provided the best service I’ve received out of all the times I’ve dined. What I did find that was disappointing, is how casual the dress code is. There was a time we would dress up to come dine. However I was noticing guests wearing jogging suits and gym shoes. It just changes the entire ambience.

Staff was all so nice and very accommodating. The menu had a good variety and our food was delish! Would absolutely recommend.

This a great place to meet friends. The good us fesh and well prepared. There are enough choices to accommodate a group. They always offer a special menu of the day.
