Best Date Night Restaurants in Anchorage

We had an amazing experience! Despite running late for our reservation, the staff was incredibly understanding accommodating. When we unexpectedly added an extra guest, they went above and beyond to find a bigger table and still seated us on time. The hostess provided excellent customer service, making us feel welcome and valued. The entire experience with seamless, and we truly appreciated their kindness and efficiency. Highly recommend this restaurant for both the food and outstanding hospitality!

My husband and I had to celebrate Valentine’s Day on 2/17. We had never been to Steak and Bourbon. The ambiance was soothing and inviting. The service was THE best we’ve ever had. To top it off, we had the most delicious food we had ever had! I had the tender filet and he had the halibut! This restaurant is worth every penny! We might not frequent this restaurant monthly, but we will return on special occasions. We are both looking forward to the next meal!

The highlight of our meal was, without a doubt, the steaks. Cooked to absolute perfection, each bite was flavorful, tender, and expertly seasoned. The quality of the ingredients and attention to detail were evident in every dish. Whether you are celebrating a special occasion or just looking for an outstanding meal, Capital Grille is the perfect choice. We will definitely be returning soon!

My wife and I enjoyed Valentine's Day dinner at The Village Anchor and were seated in the covered patio area below. The food was great but a little pricey. French Onion Soup could have been hotter and we found a lack of saltiness to everything but not terrible. The wine was reasonable and they didn't try to upsell. The dessert was huge - really enjoyed that. Friendly staff top to bottom. I had trouble finding reservations for V-Day and this place was busy but not packed at all. The lighting in the covered porch area did not at all reflect a fine dining experience, though - which killed a bit of the ambiance despite the cute Valentine's decor. Overall a good experience and we'll return if I have an extra $200 but for that kind of money I know we could do better. I look forward to brunch as their menu promises a variety of great looking option.
