- DDr. WendellvipLos Angeles •74 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe had an incredible dining experience at Planta Cocina. It checked off all the boxes: a stunningly beautiful restaurant in the new and easily accessible area of MDR. You felt like you were walking into an art museum, warmly greeted and ready to sample some creative and delicious dishes ~ one would forget that this was a Vegan restaurant. Ciara was our delightful and knowledgable server. Excellent craft cocktails and nice wine selection. We tried: Spicy ahi watermelon on crispy rice. Nice flavor and thicker crispy rice. Tempura broccoli stuffed dragon roll very good Croquettes used mushroom “bacon” and our favorite. Crab cake and corn cavatelli nicely prepared. We couldn’t pass on the Pumpkin cheesecake which was perfect ~ light, flavorful with a nice crispy crust. Planta had seasonal specials and weekly specials. We cannot wait to return to work our way thru the tasty and creative menu.More infoPlanta Cocina - Marina del ReyPrice: Moderate• Vegetarian / Vegan• Marina del Rey•4.8
