Best Cozy Restaurants in The Village

This place is a great spot to have any type of dinner. The food and drink selection was great and the atmosphere is really neat. I am already planning another event here as I loved the whole experience.

An inventive, scrumptious, collection of perfectly balanced flavours, textures, aromas, and colours. Masterful dishes served in a gorgeous, cozy dining room by welcoming, unpretentious staff. Costly, but completely reasonable for the care and effort provided. Possibly the best dining experience I've had, anywhere.

Loved the menu, the ambiance, and the service at Bar Avelo. Had the cheese board, flat bread, spiced cake from the Bar menu and all of it was delicious. I loved that even their drinks menu was entirely vegan. Can't wait to come back to try the 5 course menu at the Restaurant downstairs.

A quick supper before Mirvish's 15 Dogs downtown, so we opted for this unfamiliar café, charmingly occupying an old house on two floors with exposed brick walls & an early 19th century vibe. But nearly full & hopping with mainly a young crowd on this snowy Tuesday night. From the café style menu we opted for an excellent arugula salad with pecans & cranberries to share with a veggie burger and lasagna, both tasty & generous. Xavier our young server enhanced the meal with his attention & conversation.

The food and service were lovely as always. A true hidden Toronto gem.
